The per-square-foot rates ($5 solid colour, $7 full flake, $12 metallic) include diamond grinding, minor crack and joint repair, all materials, labour, and our written 7-year warranty. There are no hidden line items for standard installations.
Why does metallic epoxy cost more than flake?
Metallic systems use pigmented epoxy that is hand-worked into a unique pattern over a coloured base coat — more material, more artisan time, and a slower pour than a broadcast flake floor. The result is a one-of-a-kind designer finish, which is why it runs $12/sq ft versus $7 for full flake.
What could change the final quote?
The calculator assumes a structurally sound slab needing minimal prep. Heavy crack repair, old coating removal, moisture mitigation primers, or significant surface rebuilding are quoted at your free in-person assessment. Most floors in normal condition land within the calculator range.
